SRP Publications
I designed the Training group’s cover,
and I was a major contributor to my department’s style guide, the
Training and Technical Communication groups’ single sourcing template,
the department’s presentation template, and so on.
In addition to the published papers listed above, I wrote or teamed to
write approximately 30 manuals and user guides, designed about 50
covers, created about 45 quick reference cards, and designed and
authored many project, departmental, and company style guides for
documentation and presentations. Some of the more significant manuals
and user guides are described on the next page.
• Community Services and Community Relations User Guides: Ombudsman
System, Volunteer Tracking System, Speakers Bureau System, and Corporate
Contributions System, Tempe, AZ: Salt River Project, 1999–2004.
• Tivoli for OS/390 Help Desk Manual, Tempe, AZ: Salt River Project,
1995–2004.
• PC Users Guide (an in-house developed guide to using PCs in SRP’s
computer environment), Tempe, AZ: Salt River Project, 1990–1995

my brother, who was studying archeology, and his classmates at the
University of Montana. The Rostov section was for a research dig that
occurred by an international group of students, including my brother.
Information was difficult to find online for this Russian city, so the
students found it very helpful in preparing for their trip.
• Flag (U.S.) – A general resource page that was later used when the
Phoenix Chapter meeting in June fell on Flag Day.
• Hunger – A large list of hunger organizations and information was
created and later used in conjunction with the Phoenix Chapter food
drives.
